End of First Semester (2025)

Final Assessments

Every class is giving a Final Assessment in the last few days of school. Students will take Final Assessments:

  • Periods 1, 2, and 3 on December 17, 2025, on a half-day bell schedule.
  • Periods 4 or 5, 6, and 7 will be on December 18, 2025, on a half-day bell schedule.
  • On Friday, December 19, we will run a half-day schedule for recovery of the last unit assessments (only the last unit assessments as all other recovery should be completed before Final Assessments are given).
  • Students who are off campus for virtual or dual enrollment classes are not required to come into the building during the period that corresponds to their virtual/dual enrollment period. They only come into the building for face-to-face classes.
  • No Final Assessments will be given early.
  • End of semester Bell Schedule.
     

Pre-approved Absences

We do not pre-approve absences in the last two weeks of school (December 8 – 19, 2025). Students are expected to be at school on the last three days of school. Only exception to this is for students who do not have a recovery from the last unit of work may stay home on Friday, December 19, 2025. Students who do need recovery, but do not come in on December 19th, have forfeited their ability to recover the grade from the last unit. Recovery will not take place in January for First Semester grades. No Final Assessments will be given early.

Summary

School calendars are posted a year in advance. Every day of instruction is important. Please do not ask teachers to do something for your child that they cannot do for all. Everyone follows the school calendar and is in school until December 19, 2025. Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to a strong finish to fall semester!
